TXT Banking

Each message costs $0.50. A TXT Banking message fee includes both the text to PSIS and the response generated.

Pre-pay 30 Option

If you arrange in advance to pay $7.50 on the 26th day of each calendar month, the first 30 transactions of the next month which normally incur a transaction fee will be pre-paid.9

Notes

  1. A Telephone Banking facility service fee of $5.00 is charged on opening the facility, and every three months after that. If the facility is closed, no refund of the unused fee is made.
  2. A personal cheque facility service fee of $9.00 is charged on opening the facility, and as replacement cheque books are issued. If the facility is closed, no refund of the unused fee is made. A Government cheque duty of $2.50 per book also applies.
  3. A Creditline account service fee of $10.00 is charged at the opening of the account, and every six months after that. If the account is closed, no refund of the unused fee is made.
  4. An inactive account service fee is charged to current or savings accounts when PSIS deems the account to be inactive, and every month while the account remains inactive. Inactive means no transactions in the last 12 months, no Term Deposit, no loan, an at call balance less than $350 and the customer is over 18 years of age. If the account balance is less than $20, the balance remaining shall be the fee.
  5. An Overdraft facility service fee of $12.50 is charged every six months. If the facility is closed, no refund of the unused fee is made.
  6. We charge you the MasterCard Exchange Commission for each foreign exchange currency transaction (including EFTPOS and ATM transactions). We also charge International Service Fees. These charges will be itemised on your statements as separate amounts. PSIS does not charge its own fee for foreign exchange transactions, but only passes on the fees paid by PSIS to its service providers for providing these services.
  7. Card replacement service fee is for replacement cards, not planned reissues.
  8. A signature identification fee is charged when identification acceptable to PSIS cannot be produced upon request when banking at a PSIS branch other than the customer's home branch.
  9. Any transactions made within the month over the 30 free transactions will be payable by the customer at the current rate. For this purpose, a month runs from the 26th day of a calendar month to the 25th day of the following calendar month.

These fees are in effect from 4 May 2008.
