Comprehensive cover
Holiday Care has a range of great benefits:
- Replace anything lost, stolen or damaged: whatever happens to your baggage, money, or personal effects, Holiday Care replaces it, so you can get back into your holiday mood.
- Medical cover: medical costs overseas can be astronomical, but Holiday Care may pay for the care you need in a number of countries.
- Cover for accidental death or disability: you’re covered for up to $100,000, if you incur a disability or accidental death.
- Cover for delays: if you’re delayed and miss connecting flights, you’ll only lose time, not money.
- Cover for loss of deposit: if you’ve put money down for something like accommodation or a tour, then miss it because of delays or an unexpected event, your deposits can be recovered.
- Legal costs covered: Holiday Care will contribute towards your legal costs if you’re wrongly arrested or unlawfully detained while overseas.
- Rental vehicle cover: if you have an accident in your rental car while driving overseas then the excess on your vehicle may be covered up to NZ$1,500.
- Legal liability: you’ll be covered for causing the accidental injury, illness or death of another person, or for the loss of, or damage to, anyone else’s property while you’re travelling - up to NZ$1,000,000.
- We’ll get you home in an emergency: if an unexpected event occurs while you’re overseas, like the death of a close relative, your return travel to New Zealand is covered.
