Imagine a bank with a different kind of spirit. A co-operative spirit. Where customers always come first. Where the aim is to help everyone get ahead, no matter who they are, or where they're starting from.
That's the way we do banking. We provide just what you’d expect from a bank – current accounts, savings accounts, term deposits, insurance, personal loans and home loans. We have branches all over the country, and services to make banking easier, such as EFTPOS cards, and internet, telephone and text banking.
But we're not a bank. We're a co-operative.
The difference is that we're 100% owned by our customers, not by corporate shareholders.
Which means we can always put our customers' best interests first.
How does it benefit you?
When you become a customer, you automatically own a bit of PSIS.
You don't have to do anything extra – but it does mean we can do a lot to help you get ahead financially.
Because our customers are our shareholders, we can put our profits straight back into PSIS – and use them for your benefit. The better off our customers are, the better off we are. And the better off we are, the better off our customers are. So the more banking you do with us the more you’ll benefit. It’s that simple.
